Purchasing and subscription
in2Era.com.au is the home of a range of interactive online children's books brought to you by Era Publications. The content on the site is accessed through an annual subscription which can be purchased online at the Era Publications website (www.erapublications.com), alongside our full range of products. When you are ready to start using your online products, you can return to in2Era.com.au to access your content.
Access
Teachers, students, parents and guardians can subscribe to Era's online products and have access to the in2Era website.
Content can be used in class or group lessons via interactive white board or digital projector, as well as home use on a personal computer.
Licenses
Licences to access in2Era content are available at various usage levels:
- 1-user subscription: allows a single computer only. Ideal for a family at home or a teacher with one computer or interactive white board (IWB) in a classroom
- 5-user subscription: allows up to five computers to log on at any one time. This is designed for small schools, individual classrooms with multiple computers, or sections of a school
- 30-user subscription: allows up to 30 computers or IWBs to log on at any one time. Ideal for schools that have computer rooms for a whole class
- Network subscription: allows an unlimited number of computers and/or IWBs within one school
When you subscribe to an in2Era product, you are purchasing a licence which grants you 12 months access to the online content for the number of users your licence allows. If you require a higher level of access, you may upgrade your licence at anytime.
Each in2Era licence is assigned on a per-product basis. For example, you may purchase a network (unlimited user) licence to Product A, and a five-user licence to Product B. This will provide you with unlimited access to Produce A, but only allow access for five users to Product B. This gives you the flexibility to choose the level of usage you require on a product-by-product basis.
Renewals
Subscribers will receive renewal reminders well before your current subscription period lapses.
Logging in
When you purchase your subscription to an in2Era product, we will need you to provide us with a username (your email address) and you will need to create a password. Your username and password are used to login to the in2Era website. Once logged in, you will be able to access the content you have subscribed to.
Once you have logged in, your home page will display a list of the in2Era products that you have access to, and indicate the number of licences in use and the total number available.
While any number of users may login to the website using a single account, access to the content of the site is restricted to the number of users allowed by the licence. A licence is counted as being used when a logged-in user is viewing a content page. If you have problems logging in or accessing content, please refer to the FAQ.

I have logged on, but I cannot access any content
If you have entered your username and password and logged in successfully, but still cannot access in2Era content, there may be a few reasons for this.
-
Sorry, the rest of the content on this page is only available to subscribers
If you see this message, it means that you do not have access to this product. You may only access products on the in2Era website that you have purchased a subscription for. If you see this message, it means that either there was a problem when you logged in, or you may be attempting to view a product that you have not subscribed to.
Return to the home page and ensure that you are logged in (you should see a welcome message and a ‘log out’ button, not username and password fields), then make sure that the product that you are attempting to view is one that you have purchased a subscription for (a list of your subscription products is available under the login/out menu on the left of the home page).
-
An error occurred - Licence limit exceeded
If you see this message, it means that you have reached the limit for the number of users that your licence allows. For example, if you are the sixth person attempting to access a product that you have only a five-user licence for, this error message will appear. To gain access to the content, you may upgrade your subscription, or wait for one of the other users to navigate away from the content page.
When you have logged in, your home page will indicate how many licences you have purchased (per product) and how many of these are currently in use. If you notice a discrepancy in this number, you can refresh the home page by clicking the refresh/reload button in your browser’s tool bar.
If you are receiving this message and are sure that you are under your licence limit, please refer to I seem to be missing (x) number of licences.

I seem to be missing (x) number of licence
The problem
At times, you may find that you receive a 'Licence limit exceeded' error message even if you know that the number of users currently accessing content is under the limit. This is caused by users not vacating their licence spot properly and, as a result, the licence spot they were using is not made available. The most common cause of this is a user closing their browser without logging out.
The solution
If this happens to you, don't worry. The licence slot will reset itself after five minutes and you will regain access to all of your licences. This issue should only occur if you have more users logging in than you have licence spots available, and they are constantly swapping without logging out of the product.
Prevention
To prevent this from happening, ensure that users always free up their licence before closing their browser. To do this, simply navigate to another page on the in2Era website that is not a ‘content’ page (eg a page without a book on it – for example, the home page). This will free up the licence spot and allow another logged-in user to access it.
As noted above, this is only strictly necessary if there is another user waiting to use the licence spot immediately (within five minutes).

I can login, but there is no content on the pages

I have Flash installed, but I am told that I don’t have it
